About Our Client
A Birmingham private practice.
Job Description
This is an opportunity for a real estate lawyer to join a small but busy private practice. The work will focus on general landlord & tenant and acquisitions and disposals work. There will also be Corporate support work on M&A transactions.
This role would suit somebody who is looking to work in a forward thinking practice that is not obsessed with chargeable hours and targets. There is a very good work/life balance and life is different here than at the large corporate firms. However, the quality of work remains excellent.
This is what is on offer:
* A very busy pipeline of property work - the firm has surpassed revenue expectations and has had a great start to 2024. They are very confident on the pipeline of work.
* A general commercial property caseload (rather than development focused) - with a loyal client base - no need for a client following
* Excellent work/life balance- this is not a large national/international firm and the hours reflect this
* Quality work - the firm has an excellent commercial client base
* Working in a small team - so plenty of chance to make an impact in the firm
* Progression opportunities (if this is something you are driven by)
* Job stability/security - the work is here and the firm is busy
* Birmingham city centre based firm.
The Successful Applicant
It's likely that you will be a commercial property lawyer with at least 2-3 years' experience. Our client will consider candidates at levels of PQE and it could also suit a mid to senior lawyer looking to do something different.
It could really suit a lawyer at a regional firm looking to get into the Birmingham market or perhaps a lawyer at a larger firm who is frustrated with life at a big firm.
Ideally they are looking for a full-time candidate but part-time could be considered.
What's on Offer
Excellent work, clients and work/life balance.
