Responsibilities
* To provide confidential, administrative support and assistance to the Neonatal Team that includes neonatal nursing, medical team and neonatal AHPs.
* To support Neonatal Services including incidents, policies, guideline risk and audits.
* To act as a central point of contact for communication within the Neonatal team, including external communication with stakeholders.
* To develop and maintain office systems to maximise the use of time for the Neonatal Team, Neonatal Matron and Neonatal Clinical Lead.
* To support the team/service for a variety of short‑term project management initiatives, provide administrative support and organise key regular meetings for the neonatal Service.
* To welcome families and professionals onto the unit with a smile, while performing a variety of administrative tasks to support the clinical team across the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).
* To manage phone calls, coordinate appropriately and provide general administrative support in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing clinical environment.
Qualifications
* Be 18 years old or over.
* Have the right to work in the UK with a visa that covers the duration of the apprenticeship.
* Have been permanently resident in the UK for the past 3 years.
* Have a level‑3 Business Administrator apprenticeship, or will complete one alongside the role; applicants who already hold a level‑3 Business qualification are not eligible to apply.
* Ability to organise and prioritise workload.
