The Role As a Toolmaker / Tool & Die Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in maintaining and manufacturing tooling used in the production of high-quality metal components. This is a hands-on, detail-driven role requiring strong technical expertise and problem-solving ability within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities • Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications • Use hand tools, CNC machinery, and precision measuring equipment • Manufacture, assemble, repair, and maintain tooling, dies, jigs, and fixtures • Test and adjust tooling to ensure it meets required specifications • Carry out preventative maintenance and complex fault diagnosis • Maintain mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and process control systems • Identify and implement improvements to processes, efficiency, and quality What We're Looking For • Proven experience in a toolmaking or tool maintenance role within manufacturing • Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail • Team player with good communication xxuwjjq skills • Proactive problem-solver with a quality-focused mindset • Ability to read technical drawings and work with precision engineering equipment • Experience with CNC machining, milling, grinding, or similar Qualifications • Level 2 & Level 3 Diplomas in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Toolmaking / Tool & Die Maintenance) • HNC / HND in Engineering (preferred) Apply now to join a respected UK manufacturer and take the next step in your engineering career.
