Bellevue Vets, a Silver ISFM-accredited practice in Frome, is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly and supportive team.
Set within a beautifully converted barn, the practice offers a calm, welcoming environment and a varied small animal caseload including cats, dogs, rabbits, small furries, plus the occasional exotic and wildlife case brought in by the local community.
This role offers a great balance of consults and surgery, with plenty of opportunity to work cases up thoroughly, build strong client relationships and enjoy clinical freedom while still having support around you when needed. The practice is well equipped with digital X-ray, ultrasound, VetAir dental equipment and multiparameter monitoring, alongside excellent referral pathways.
You’ll be joining a close-knit team of experienced vets, RVNs and client care professionals, supported by an engaged Practice Director, with further development and certificate support actively encouraged.
How You’ll Make a Difference
As a Primary Care Veterinary Surgeon, you’ll work collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver a high standard of patient and client care across a varied and rewarding caseload. You’ll continue to develop your clinical skills and interests while sharing your knowledge and experience with colleagues, contributing positively to the clinical culture of the practice. You’ll be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering excellent care and supporting the ongoing development of those around you.
Key Details
* Part time 20 hours per week across 2 days (ideally a Thursday, rest flexible).
* Weekend commitment: 1:4 Saturdays from 9:00am to 1:00pm.
* No out‑of‑hours or on‑call requirements.
You Might Be a Great Fit If...
* A Veterinary degree and registration (or eligibility to register) with the RCVS.
* Experience working in clinical practice with growing confidence in routine medical and surgical cases.
