HV Electrical Project Engineer - Power & Renewables
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an HV Electrical Project Engineer to join a growing engineering team delivering complex projects across the power and renewables sector. This role offers the chance to work on high-value projects, supporting delivery from initial design and tender stage through to construction, commissioning and energisation. You’ll be part of a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team focused on delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the delivery of HV/MV electrical projects from design through to completion
* Produce and review technical drawings, schematics and design documentation
* Coordinate with design teams, subcontractors and internal stakeholders
* Assist with procurement of materials and equipment
* Prepare method statements, risk assessments and project documentation
* Monitor quality through inspections, testing and commissioning support
* Manage RFIs, technical queries and document control processes
* Contribute to project planning, scheduling and reporting
Requirements:
* Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
* Experience in HV/MV electrical projects within industrial or infrastructure environments
* Strong understanding of electrical design and installation practices
* Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment
* Good commercial awareness and problem-solving skills
* Strong communication and stakeholder management ability
* Must have the right to work within the UK
