We are hiring a Broker Business Development Manager to join our growing Broker Sales Team, who drive new and greater relationships with insurance brokers throughout the UK. Who we work with is everything to us, our relationships with customers and brokers really matters. We love working with people who think like we do and as a Broker Business Development Manager, your day will involve combining your fantastic (some might say refreshing) customer service skills, commercial acumen, flair for sales, and your excellent coordination skills to help us achieve our ambitious growth plans for the business. We are ideally looking for someone based in the North of England or Scotland - looking after our local broker relationships. However, we are open to considering other suitable locations across the UK. What will you be doing? As a Broker Business Development Manager for BES Group, you will involve developing and managing sales pipelines with your brokers and ensuring delivery against sales targets. In your region you will manage our relationships with a panel of brokers, most of whom we have traded with for many years. We’re a preferred provider to most of the UK’s largest brokers as a result of our strong proposition and market leading E-trade tools. As well and growing these accounts, you’ll identify other brokers in your region who we can develop new partnerships with. You Will You will coordinate the involvement of sales, marketing, pricing, operations and service delivery teams and use your relationship management and strong communication skills to meet and exceed targets. Manage a portfolio of strategic broker accounts and develop new relationships to identify and convert new business opportunities Where required, lead and/or contribute to the winning of new customer accounts; including making presentations, engaging in negotiations, ensuring follow-up and production of necessary documentation Manage the overall sales pipeline to ensure BES Group achieves its annual sales targets Contribute to the wider development of effective business strategies, priorities and market propositions, drawing on own knowledge, understanding and interpretation of local markets, competitors and end customers. Contribute to the development and implementation of marketing strategies and initiatives designed to raise awareness and generate leads and new business opportunities Comply with the required standards of sales excellence and best practice, operating effectiveness and efficiency, in line with all legal and regulatory requirements Promoting the use by brokers of our amazing E-trade tools, including Acturis and our in-house BERT system The role is home based, and you’ll manage your time in the best way for you that achieves our targets. You’ll probably be out seeing brokers in your region for 3 days a week.
