Veneer Technologies, Inc. (VTI) has an opportunity for a Summer Intern to team up with our Marketing Department! You will work with the Communications Manager to gain hands‑on experience in various marketing strategies and develop a better understanding of how marketing equates to meaningful company initiatives.
This program includes two specialized roles: Digital Media Intern and Copywriting Intern. While each role has a unique focus, both interns will work together on campaign strategy, content development, and execution.
Copywriting Intern
Duties and responsibilities include:
* Writing blog posts and website content
* Developing SEO- and AEO-informed content
* Assisting with campaign messaging and creative briefs
* Writing scripts and captions for digital media content
* Supporting marketing research and content planning
Preferred Skills
* General understanding of SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and AEO (Answer Engine Optimization)
* Strong writing and communication skills
* Interest in storytelling, branding, and marketing strategy
* Portfolio encouraged but not required (may include written school assignments)
Requirements
* Applicants must be through their sophomore year at a 4‑year accredited college or university with courses focused on obtaining a degree in marketing, design, or similar field.
* Outstanding written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
* The ability to collaborate and work effectively on a team.
* Live within the area of Newport, NC or be willing to relocate for the summer. Arrangements can be made for housing to be provided for the duration of the internship.
* Ability to work in an environment that is not climate controlled.
