* Assist residents with personal hygiene ensuring independence, dignity and respect.
* Recognise and understand clinical risk areas such as weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls and signs of infection, escalating any identified risks in a timely manner.
* Act courteously towards residents and visitors, respecting their dignity and individuality.
* Practice safe systems of work across the range of tasks.
Key Qualifications and Attributes
* Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
* Demonstrate initiative and respect towards residents and other people in the home.
* Be an efficient worker who can carry reasonable instructions from other team members.
* Be adaptable and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities on short notice.
* Experience is not required; a thorough induction and training programme will be provided.
