Overview
EXAM INVIGILATORS – Casual contract – hours to be agreed during the academic year. Salary: £12.85 per hour.
Invigilators are responsible for the correct running of internal and external examinations in a range of exam rooms.
Responsibilities
* Invigilators are responsible for the correct running of internal and external examinations in a range of exam rooms.
* Experience is not required, as training will be provided.
* The work is on a casual basis throughout the year, with the majority being during May and June. Exams typically take place in two sessions: morning and afternoon, though there is often an additional mid-morning session.
* Invigilators should enjoy working as part of a team. They should be interested in working in a school environment and in supporting candidates, in both large and smaller groups.
* The position is ideally suited to a responsible, calm, organised individual who have effective communication skills and are expected to dress appropriately for a school environment.
* Experience of working in a school environment or with secondary aged students would be advantageous.
