Commercial Manager – Sponsorship (Conference Background)
Remote – UK
Base Up to 55,000+ OTE £100k
Key responsibilities:
* Sales strategy and operations: Review and implement a structured sales strategy that supports sales performance and is reproducible across the sales team as the business grows.
* Sales management: Personally deliver on sales KPIs related to activity, revenue, and account management.
* Product conception and delivery: Represent clients in internal discussions to strengthen product performance.
* Direct sales: Lead sales campaigns.
* Client management: Manage key accounts and oversee rebooking meetings.
* Commercial analysis: Analyze vendor marketplaces, categorize companies, and research new leads.
* Sales marketing: Collaborate with production, content, and marketing teams to design and implement sales strategies leveraging business intelligence.
Candidate Profile:
* Experience: 5+ years in a commercial role at a B2B events/media business, with high-value B2B solution sales experience.
* Performance: Proven track record of meeting commercial targets and high performance.
* Product experience: Sold live events, digital products like webinars or reports, large B2B events, sponsorships, and exhibition booths.
* Sales knowledge: Understanding of sales techniques and training experience is a plus.
* Strategy: Experience in building and executing sales plans and contributing to business strategy.
