Overview
We are developing pathways with the local community dermatology service, expanding our Teledermatology provision and also aim to expand our advice and guidance and e‑referral system. Our long‑term ambition is to develop a dermatology hub for specialist provisions including the development of a Mohs surgical unit. The consultant dermatologist will work with the dermatology team to provide a comprehensive clinical service for patients. The dermatology service at UHCW is delivered across three sites, primarily at University Hospital Coventry but also at George Eliot Hospital Nuneaton and Hospital of St Cross Rugby. This post will support the general dermatological service with most of the clinical sessions based at GEH Nuneaton and a few sessions at University Hospital Coventry. This post will join a team of six other Consultants in the Dermatology Unit providing in‑patient and out‑patient services.

Values and Behaviours
To ensure that we provide world‑class patient care, UHCW recruits people that can demonstrate the Trust's Values and Behaviours in their everyday life. Therefore, if you are invited to interview, you will be undertaking a Values Based Interview/Assessment, which explores not only what you do but how and why you do it. Before applying, we encourage you to review the Trust's Values and Behaviours.
Equal Opportunities
The Trust is committed to Equal Opportunities within the workplace. All vacancies will be considered for Job Share unless otherwise stated. All applicants who have a disability and who meet the minimum criteria for the job will be interviewed. Where a post has an overwhelming response, this Trust may use random selection in order to reduce numbers to interview; any disabled applicants will automatically be guaranteed an interview and will be exempt from this process.
