Health & Safety Manager – Newport (office‑based) – £40,000 – £45,000 DOE
Juice Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a growing and well‑established organisation in their search for an experienced Health & Safety Manager. Day to Day
Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will take ownership of all Health & Safety responsibilities across the business. This is a varied, hands‑on role where you’ll be instrumental in creating a culture of safety and compliance.
Key responsibilities include:
* Developing, implementing, and reviewing Health & Safety policies and procedures
* Conducting audits, inspections, and risk assessments
* Leading on fire safety management and compliance
* Delivering engaging training sessions to staff at all levels
* Managing and investigating incidents, ensuring thorough reporting and follow‑up
* Partnering with managers across the business to drive best practice
We Are Looking For
We’re looking for a proactive and knowledgeable individual who thrives in a fast‑paced environment. You will bring:
* At least 3 years’ experience in a Health & Safety role
* NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent)
* NEBOSH Fire Safety qualification or equivalent
* COSHH training
* Strong experience in fire risk assessments and compliance
* A solid understanding of current Health & Safety legislation
* Excellent communication skills with confidence in training and advising stakeholders
