Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children in a nursery setting. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their development and learning through engaging activities.
Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
* Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development.
* Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to inform planning and support individual learning needs.
* Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive community.
* Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care by adhering to health and safety guidelines.
* Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming nursery environment.
* Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Skills
* Experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is essential.
* Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in English.
* Ability to build rapport with children and parents alike, fostering trust and collaboration.
