About the Direct Payment Holder
A young lady who suffers with Fibromyalgia, Chronic fatigue, IBS, depression, anxiety and panic attacks and lives with her young son who has a diagnosis of Autism is seeking a PA to support her and her son get up and ready for school in the mornings, maintaining the home environment and preparing healthy meals.
Hours and rate of pay hours
15 hours per week - Support required Monday – Friday
Mornings – 2 hours daily to support with getting up and ready for school, meal prep and light household chores
Weekly – a further 5 hours which are flexible and to be arranged with young lady to support with accessing the community and engaging in hobbies etc.

What you would be doing…
Support in the morning to get up and get ready for the day and also encourage son to get up and get ready in time for school. Help with preparing meals and some light household chores
Flexible support 5 hours a week to support with any letters/correspondence or forms that are required actioning. Support to access the community for shopping or leisure, support with any appointments. Support with encouraging and setting up hobbies at home if not able to go out. Provide emotional support for wellbeing and when feeling overwhelmed.
Required skills and experience
Seeking a PA who is calm, kind, empathetic and organised.
Someone experienced in how to calm someone who can become overwhelmed and anxious and who has experience with children with Autism.
An interest in gaming, art, sewing and TV and film is preferred, however, not essential.
