Overview
Excellent opportunity for a HR Advisor to partner with line managers to create and implement HR strategies that drive objectives, ensuring legal compliance and best practices. You will guide managers on HR policies, handle employee relations, and champion smooth recruitment. Building strong customer relationships, data analysis, and working on projects for business growth are part of this role. You will handle a variety of tasks from training to data analysis and project due diligence within a dynamic HR operation team, making a real impact and driving continuous improvement. This is a hybrid role requiring travel to our Leeds, Salford, London or Southampton office 1–2 times per month.
What you will be doing
* Investigate and resolve day-to-day employee relations issues, supporting managers in using the full range of HR policies (e.g., grievance, disciplinary) to ensure matters are handled appropriately and in line with legislative and organisational requirements.
* Work with line managers and the wider HR team to assess needs and design, deliver and evaluate HR initiatives that enable business objectives, are legally compliant, and reflect best practice.
* Advise and coach managers on how to interpret and apply HR policies and processes to ensure they are applied correctly and do not expose the Company to risk, while being adapted to the individual case to support objectives.
* Support hiring managers with recruitment activity to attract and retain the best talent while maintaining a positive candidate experience.
* Establish and maintain internal/external customer relationships to ensure a high level of service.
* Develop and deliver training courses and other learning events to employees/managers to reinforce or launch HR-related activities.
* Involvement in ad-hoc projects with the wider HR Team to support business strategic aims, such as employee engagement and new business initiatives.
What you’ll bring
* Experience working as an HR Advisor in a fast-moving, sophisticated organisation, supporting multiple locations across the UK with travel as necessary.
* Up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice.
* Track record as an experienced HR practitioner in complex case management spanning multiple terms and conditions sets.
* Experience managing and delivering HR and engagement projects.
* Good communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to influence management teams.
* Ability to work remotely and across dispersed teams.

* CIPD qualification or working towards
* Experience working with complex TUPE populations
Additional details
Location: Anywhere – travel to Leeds, Salford, London or Southampton 1–2 times per month

Salary: £30k - £35k
