Join our Warehouse Team at our Head Office in Doncaster!
We have an exciting opportunity for a Parts Collections Supervisor to oversee our Warehouse & Quality Control operations. Your role will involve maintaining optimal efficiency and effectiveness within the Warehouse & Quality Control function, supporting customers’ needs with the parts they have purchased and stepping in for the Team Leader when needed.
Warehouse Responsibilities
1. Receive goods from Dismantling, check operating standards, quality, and appearance to ensure they match our inventory and stock control systems and databases.
2. Visually inspect all second-hand parts to determine if they need regrading or are suitable for resale, reconditioning, export, scrap, or surplus, following agreed standards/processes (VRA).
3. Ensure parts are cleaned, imaged, packaged, and tagged as required.
4. Allocate all parts to the appropriate storage location and update the database accordingly.
5. Fulfill customer orders within set SLAs by picking parts and preparing them for dispatch.
6. Provide assistance and advice, respond to inquiries, suggest alternatives, and manage parts’ availability.
7. Assist with stocktaking, manage stock movements, and update the database for damaged or redundant parts.
8. Process returned parts to assess their resale or disposal status.
9. Utilize integrated systems to ensure all orders are fulfilled with stringent quality control, including Frontier software, TSD, and BigChange.
10. Work to SLA adherence, prioritizing customer orders as needed.
11. Correctly identify parts and locate them in relevant depot areas, maintaining high standards of housekeeping to ensure a safe and streamlined environment.
Safety and Operational Leadership
You are responsible for ensuring that RB Global & SYNETIQ Operational Safety KPIs are met and recorded in the Velocity system, including:
* Daily Pre-Job Safety Meetings
* Monthly Forklift Safety Observations
* Monthly Spill Kit and First Aid Kit Inspections
* Monthly Fire Safety Checks
* Monthly Site Inspections
* One Stop Audit per month
Candidate Requirements
* Knowledge of Health & Safety Regulations
* Experience in a similar environment
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Knowledge of motor vehicle parts
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team
