Your Mission
Linnworks Content Marketing Manager
We are looking for a talented, strategic, and hands-on Content Marketing Manager to join our growing Marketing team at Linnworks. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, this role is the engine behind Linnworks' content - owning the strategy, execution, performance, and continuous improvement of everything we publish.
This is a true end-to-end ownership role. You will set the content strategy and then roll up your sleeves to execute it. You will align content to our GTM strategy, product roadmap, and core business objectives - ensuring every piece of content serves a commercial purpose and moves the right audience through the funnel.
The ideal candidate is an exceptional writer who thinks in stories and speaks in data. You are equally comfortable crafting a compelling long-form guide, analysing content performance, and presenting insights to stakeholders. You have an AI-first mindset and know how to leverage tools like Claude and ChatGPT to produce better content, faster - without sacrificing quality or strategic depth.
This role is remote-first, with hybrid options available in London or Chichester.. Interested candidates must be eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship.
Key Responsibilities
SEO/AEO, Content Strategy & GTM Alignment
* Develop and own a comprehensive content strategy that maps directly to GTM motions, product launches, and key business priorities
* Align all content creation initiatives to best practices and data in Search and Answer Engine Optimization, leveraging data tools to inform your work
* Partner with Product Marketing, Growth and Sales to ensure content is built around the buyer journey and commercial goals
* Translate product roadmap updates and go-to-market plans into compelling content that educates, nurtures, and converts target audiences
* Build and maintain an editorial calendar that balances long-term strategy with short-term campaign needs
Content Creation & Storytelling
* Write and edit high-quality content across formats - including long-form guides, blog posts, whitepapers, web copy, social content, and sales collateral
* Bring a strong editorial voice and point of view to everything you publish, positioning Linnworks as the authoritative voice in ecommerce automation
* Own the full content lifecycle — from brief and research through to drafting, editing, publishing, and distribution
* Distil complex product capabilities and market trends into clear, compelling narratives that resonate with both technical and business audiences
AI-Powered Content Operations
* Lead Linnworks' approach to AI-assisted content production, setting standards for how tools like Claude and ChatGPT are used responsibly and effectively
* Use AI tools to scale output, accelerate research, generate drafts, personalise content, and explore new content formats — while maintaining editorial quality
* Stay current on the evolving AI content landscape and proactively bring new techniques and tools to the team
Analytics, Reporting & Optimisation
* Own content performance reporting end-to-end — building dashboards, tracking KPIs, and presenting insights to stakeholders on a regular cadence
* Translate data into clear narratives and recommendations — not just reporting what happened, but explaining why and what to do next
* Use analytics to identify content gaps, double down on high-performing formats and topics, and continuously improve content ROI
* Conduct regular audits of existing content and develop a structured approach to refreshing, consolidating, or retiring underperforming assets
What You'll Bring To The Role
Experience & Skills
* 4+ years of experience in content marketing, ideally within a B2B SaaS environment
* Strong SEO/AEO knowledge and deep familiarity with tools like SEMrush and Search Console
* Exceptional writing skills — you produce polished, compelling copy with minimal editing required, across a variety of formats and tones
* Demonstrated ability to align content strategy to business objectives, GTM plans, and product roadmaps
* Strong data and analytics skills — you can build a report, interpret results, and turn numbers into a narrative that drives decisions
* Hands-on experience with AI content tools (such as Claude, ChatGPT, or similar) and a clear philosophy for using them well
* Experience owning the full content operation — strategy, creation, distribution, and performance measurement
* Comfortable working cross-functionally and influencing without authority
Preferred
* Experience in ecommerce, marketplace technology, logistics, or supply chain verticals
* Experience with marketing automation and CMS platforms (e.g. HubSpot, WordPress)
* Track record of building content programmes from the ground up
* Experience working across global teams in US, UK, and EU markets
What You'll Bring
* An outstanding editorial eye and genuine passion for writing
* A commercial mindset — you think about content in terms of pipeline, revenue, and retention, not just traffic
* The ability to zoom out for strategy and zoom in for execution — often on the same day
* Strong ownership mentality and the drive to deliver without being chased
* A data-curious mindset — you seek out insights and let them shape your decisions
* Confidence presenting work and recommendations to senior stakeholders
Location & Working Model
* Remote-first, with hybrid options in London or Chichester for UK-based candidates
