About the Role: Secondary Teaching Assistant
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Secondary Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and supportive team in Bradford. This is a unique opportunity to provide crucial support to students in key stage 3 and key stage 4, helping them overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential. You will work closely with teachers to deliver engaging and effective lessons, providing one:on:one and small group support to students with a range of needs, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Requirements:
* A minimum of a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
* Eligibility to work in the UK.
* Experience supporting students with a range of learning needs, including SEND.
* An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness for one).

Responsibilities
* Assisting the classroom teacher with lesson preparation and delivery.
* Providing one:to:one and small group support to students, focusing on literacy and numeracy.
* Helping to create and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Supporting students with personal and social development.
* Assisting in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with SEND.
* Monitoring and recording student progress and providing feedback to teachers.
* Managing classroom resources and equipment effectively.
* Supervising students during break times and school trips.
* Contributing to the planning and delivery of extra:curricular activities.
* Liaising with parents/carers, teachers, and external professionals to support student well:being.
