Are you looking to work in a technical environment? If so, IPG Photonics is where you want to be! Our Technical Assemblers preform various duties such as building electronic assemblies and sub-assemblies for lasers along the side of team members that influence the future of laser technology.
Responsibilities:
* Build electronic assemblies and sub-assemblies for lasers
* Build mechanical assemblies
* Review assembly drawings
* Troubleshooting
* Repair
Requirements
* Must be comfortable working with microscopes
* Previous experience with soldering required
* Must have good communication skills and be able to understand and follow verbal and written work instructions.
* Regular and reliable attendance and the ability to work overtime are essential functions of this job.
* Must be present and on time for work as scheduled.
* Be able to work carefully, consistently and be able to identify errors.
* Familiarity with PCs and Microsoft Windows, a plus but no required.
* Familiar with IPC standards preferred
* Comfortable with sitting for long periods of time
Shift: 2 pm-10 pm. OT available
