The Role
They are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee multiple projects across London. The role will involve managing schemes from pre-construction through to final handover, ensuring they are delivered to programme, budget, and the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
* Oversee and manage multiple Cat A & Cat B commercial fit out projects from inception through to handover, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
* Lead and coordinate project delivery teams, working closely with site managers, subcontractors, consultants, and supply chain partners to ensure seamless execution.
* Develop, monitor, and maintain project programmes, tracking progress against key milestones, budgets, and financial targets.
* Ensure full compliance with health & safety legislation, building regulations, and all statutory requirements across live sites.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships, attending progress meetings and providing clear, timely updates throughout the project lifecycle.
* Manage contractual obligations, including variations, change control processes, and administration of client instructions in line with contract requirements.
* Provide leadership, guidance, and mentoring to project managers and site-based teams, driving consistency and excellence in delivery.
Candidate Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Contracts Manager, managing multiple large-scale projects.
* Consistent career history with evidence of successfully delivering Turnkey Cat A/Cat B Fit Outs.
* Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills.
* Relevant industry certifications (e.g. CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid).
