Responsibilities
1. Produce and modify electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and system layouts using AutoCAD Electrical
2. Design and document 24V DC power distribution and communication systems including serial, fibre, coax, and networking components
3. Support the integration of electrical and electronic subsystems on a marine platform
4. Collaborate with engineering teams and project stakeholders to manage design changes and resolve technical ambiguities
5. Ensure all designs align with relevant marine standards and regulatory compliance
6. Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback efficiently
Qualifications
7. HND/HNC in Electrical Engineering or Equivalent
8. Completion of formal AutoCAD Electrical training preferred
Essential skills
9. AutoCad Electrical
10. Marine Experience
11. Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical
12. Strong understanding of 24V DC systems
13. Experience with communications infrastructure (serial, fibre, coax, Ethernet)
14. Ability to interpret incomplete design data and resolve ambiguities independently
15. High attention to detail and accuracy
16. Strong organizational and documentation skills
17. Comfortable working in a fast-changing project environment
Experience
18. Experience with systems integration in marine or defense / naval projects
19. Familiarity with classification society rules and maritime electrical standards
