Commercial Legal Counsel | HS2 (Europe’s Largest Infrastructure Project)

We are seeking a Commercial Legal Counsel to join our commercial team and navigate the complexities of this historic project.
The Role: Commercial & Strategic Impact
You will join our commercial legal team, working on high-value procurement and contract management. Your daily work will involve:
* Drafting & Negotiation: Handling complex and high value commercial contracts
* Major Procurement: Supporting the delivery of critical infrastructure,
* Strategic Advice: Providing counsel on claims, variations, and contract management.
* Risk Management: Managing risk allocation and overseeing external legal advisors.

The Package
We offer a competitive base salary plus a 20% Flex Fund (which can be taken as cash or used for benefits like private healthcare and gym memberships).
* Total package: Up to £77,474 (including flex)
* Salary: £46,406 to £65,514 dependent on experience.
* Pension: Enhanced 10% employer contribution (when you contribute 5%).
* Work-Life Balance: Hybrid working model based in Birmingham (3 days per week)
