What You Will Do
An opportunity has arisen for a Nurse Team Lead within the Infection Prevention and Control Team (IPCT). The IPCT lead will provide professional leadership and operational management to promote the delivery of a sustainable Infection Control Service in Surveillance, the Built Environment, Care Home, Community Partnerships and Acute Services throughout NHS Ayrshire and Arran. You will be integral to the operational management of the infection control service on all matters relating to the prevention and control of infection and must have relevant leadership experience within the specialty .

Knowledge, Training And/or Experience Required To Do The Job
You will work in partnership with all members of the infection control team on minimising the risk of healthcare associated infection (HAI) to patients, staff, visitors and others in line with National infection Prevention and Control guidance and evidence-based research.
You will contribute to the development and implementation of the annual infection control programme of education, audit, research, policy provision and will also contribute to the development of the Infection Control Annual Report and Work Plan.
