Key Responsibilities
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Maths lessons aligned with the secondary curriculum and exam specifications
* Assess, track, and report on student progress, providing clear and constructive feedback
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
* Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of students with varying abilities and learning styles
* Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
* Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and colleagues
* Contribute to departmental planning and whole-school initiatives
* Participate in ongoing professional development
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT)
* Strong subject knowledge in Maths
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Confidence teaching students aged 11–16
* Ability to deliver engaging and inspiring lessons
* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one), ideally on the DBS Update Service
