We are seeking experienced Concrete Finishers to join our construction teams.
Overview
We are looking for experienced concrete finishers to work on various structures and ensure quality finishes in line with project specifications.
Responsibilities
* Carry out all aspects of concrete finishing, including power floating, hand trowelling, tamping, and texturing.
* Work on a variety of structures such as slabs, walls, columns, staircases, and lift shafts.
* Operate and maintain finishing tools and equipment safely and effectively.
* Ensure levels, lines, and finishes meet specification and quality standards.
* Carry out remedial works, patching, and surface repairs where required.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment, adhering to health and safety procedures at all times.
* Read and interpret drawings and specifications (or be willing to learn).
* Work both independently and as part of a team, supporting programme delivery.
Essential Requirements
* Proven experience as a Concrete Finisher.
* Skilled in the use of finishing tools and techniques (hand and machine).
* Strong understanding of safety on site, with commitment to HSE standards.
* Reliable, proactive, and able to manage time effectively.
* Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
* Valid CSCS card (or equivalent).
Desirable
* 3+ years experience in concrete finishing.
* Experience with various formwork and shuttering systems.
* Willingness to learn and develop further skills.
General Expectations
* Reliable, punctual, and professional.
* Able to collaborate effectively with trades and operatives.
* Support project deadlines and overall programme delivery.
* Eligible to work in the UK.
Notes on Cards
In line with client requirements, we can only accept NPORS cards that are affiliated with CSCS and carry the CSCS hologram. Traditional NPORS cards are no longer accepted.
