Overview
Microsoft 365 Trainer and Engagement Specialist – Derbyshire County Council. This is a fixed term post for 24 months, working 37 hours per week. Salary: £36,363 to £41,771 per annum (Grade 10 bar 11, subject to job evaluation). Location: at one of the supported offices (Wingerworth, Clowne, Matlock) or as determined by the Council.
We are seeking a dedicated Microsoft 365 Trainer and Engagement Specialist to ensure our supported Councils maximize their use of Microsoft 365 products. You will support the full adoption lifecycle, from planning and training to ongoing support, ensuring business needs are met efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
* You will train and engage employees and Councillors on various Microsoft 365 products, enhancing the Council’s digital workplace by driving adoption and effective use of these technologies.
* Lead role in the Councils migration and adoption of SharePoint, Teams, Co-pilot and the M365 suite of tools.
* Work within the Joint ICT service to provide high quality ICT services to Bolsover, Derbyshire Dales and Northeast Derbyshire District Councils.
* Attend in-person training and meetings as required and support learning opportunities for staff and councillors.
* Work to tight deadlines, be well organized, self-motivated and willing to take on new challenges in a rapidly changing technical environment.
* Flexible with location and able to work at least two days a week from one of the supported offices; provide and attend training as needed.
* Due to administrative privileges, the successful candidate will be required to undertake a Basic level Disclosure and Barring Service check.
Qualifications and experience
* Experience of developing and delivering training relating to M365.
* Experience of managing projects related to M365 implementation such as SharePoint migration.
* Understanding of Microsoft 365 products and their practical application in a business environment.
* M365 end user technical knowledge on Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Forms, Power Automate, Office apps and Co-Pilot.
* Experience with change management and user adoption strategies.
