This is a fantastic opportunity with a highly respected independent insurance brokerage in the Leeds area and with multiple offices around the UK. They have grown impressively over the last few years, both organically and with a number of smart acquisitions, making this a really exciting business to join and to develop a career.
They currently have a job opening available in the Leeds area, working in their Commercial SME team, dealing with a wide range of commercial clients with annual premium spends up to circa £15k/£20k.
Working within the “New Business” team, you will be dealing with incoming enquiries, building rapport with potential clients, going to market to provide quotations and securing new commercial clients. Although this is a new business role, there will be no outbound prospecting or cold calling.
Ideal applicants with have at least 18 months commercial insurance experience, preferably broking or sales, be a confident communicator, organised and enjoy working in a busy team with lots of client contact. Previous use of Acturis system would be beneficial, but is not essential (system training can be provided).
This role comes with an excellent basic salary of up to £32k + a generous commission scheme, which is likely to enable you to earn an additional £4k and £8k per annum. On top of this, you will be provided with an excellent and comprehensive benefits package and have the opportunity to work partly from home if required.
