Job Description
1. Lead the full estimating lifecycle-from conceptual budgets through detailed GMP and lump‑sum bids.
2. Manage and refine cost models tailored to specialized market sectors, including healthcare, life sciences, industrial, office/interiors, and gaming/hospitality.
3. Perform detailed quantity takeoffs and provide cost analysis at all project stages.
4. Develop comprehensive bid packages, solicit trade contractor involvement, and level subcontractor proposals to ensure accuracy and scope completeness.
5. Coordinate with preconstruction and operations teams to present competitive, well‑supported proposals.
6. Partner with architects, engineers, and consultants during preconstruction to guide design toward budget and constructability.
7. Participate in client presentations and interviews, effectively communicating the company's estimating approach and value.
8. Evaluate drawings, specifications, and project requirements for accuracy, constructability, risk, and cost implications.
9. Lead value‑engineering exercises that support project feasibility without compromising quality.
10. Utilize BIM, preconstruction planning tools, and digital estimating platforms aligned with company's technology‑forward culture.

The Successful Applicant
11. 7-10+ years of progressive estimating experience with a commercial general contractor or construction manager.
12. Proven background estimating projects within one or more of the company's core sectors (, healthcare, life sciences, industrial, interiors, senior living, or gaming).
13. Strong proficiency in conceptual estimating, conceptual takeoffs, unit‑pricing, and market benchmarking.
14. Experience with CMAR, Design‑Build, and GMP delivery methods.
15. Familiarity with BIM integration and modern preconstruction software.
16. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
17. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
