Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and test electrical and electronic systems, including circuits, components, and assemblies.
* Apply engineering principles to deliver robust, reliable solutions aligned to project requirements.
* Produce and review technical documentation including design artefacts, reports, and data packs.
* Support system integration, verification, and validation activities.
* Contribute to design reviews, presenting technical work and supporting decision‑making.
* Develop and implement engineering processes, contributing to continuous improvement.
* Estimate and manage work packages, ensuring delivery to time, cost, and quality targets.
* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers where required.
* Remain current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Qualifications & Experience
* Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or equivalent experience.
* Experience delivering electrical/electronic solutions within a complex engineering environment.
* Strong understanding of core engineering principles and system design.
* Experience working across the project lifecycle from concept through to delivery.
* Ability to produce clear technical documentation and contribute to structured design reviews.
* Experience working collaboratively within multi‑disciplinary teams.
* Eligibility to obtain SC clearance.
* Experience within defence, aerospace, or other highly regulated industries.
* Familiarity with systems integration, verification, and validation processes.
* Experience with engineering toolsets and design environments.
* Exposure to safety, environmental, and compliance standards.
* Ability to manage or support delivery of engineering work packages.
