Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Mid Ulster
Salary: £35k - £40k
Vickerstock is collaborating with one of Europe's leading crushing and screening companies based in Mid-Ulster to assist in recruiting a Manufacturing Engineer.
The role involves collaborating with various departments to maintain, improve, and build upon tracked data, ensuring a smoother and more efficient manufacturing process across the site.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Communicate with source document preparers to clarify questions, resolve discrepancies, or obtain missing information.
2. Review data entries and make necessary corrections to ensure accuracy.
3. Gather, organise, and validate data before input.
4. Support the development and maintenance of an effective record management system.
5. Develop and manage Manufacturing Bill of Materials (BoM) templates within the ERP system.
6. Generate reports to support accurate BoM creation and ensure a 'right first time' approach.
7. Schedule products in the ERP system according to the master production plan and engineering updates.
8. Participate in daily production meetings to stay informed on current activities.
9. Collaborate with engineering, planning, purchasing, stores, and manufacturing departments.
Ideal Candidate:
* At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering department.
* Experience working with Bill of Materials and ERP systems.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
