Payroll Advisor

About the role
We’re looking for a hands-on, detail-savvy Payroll Advisor to join our friendly, supportive team at Premier Technical Services Group (PTSG). If you're someone who thrives in a busy environment, enjoys the variety that comes with working across multiple businesses, and isn’t fazed by a bit of complexity, this could be a great fit.
You'll be joining a close-knit team of four, working from our open-plan Castleford head office (just a 5-minute walk from the train station, and close to the M62 and A1). The vibe in the office is relaxed, collaborative, and welcoming – plus, we’ve got a great breakout area with a PlayStation, pool table, board games, and coffee machine (yes, it’s free).
What you’ll be doing
This is a true 360 payroll position. You’ll be involved in the full end-to-end process, including:
* Running payroll across several businesses with differing terms and conditions
* Using One Advance and Sage50 software
* Completing journals, EPS submissions, and pension uploads
* Producing P11Ds, P45s, P60s
* Handling payroll queries and managing attachments of earnings
* Supporting our ongoing improvements and consolidation projects
What we’re looking for
* Solid experience in payroll – ideally in a complex or multi-business setup
* Confident with payroll systems (especially One Advance or Sage50 – or a quick learner!)
* Organised, calm under pressure, and not afraid to roll your sleeves up
* Someone who enjoys being part of a team, and values a good work atmosphere
