Job Description
1. Ensuring that the production line under their charge maximizes the utilization of the main resources of the business.
2. Reporting and communicating all issues affecting production effectively.
3. Ensuring that all finished products and donor stocks maintain their traceability in accordance with the Culina IPS Production and Quality Procedures.
4. Motivating a team to meet production targets.
5. Ensuring the final product meets client specifications (SPI).
6. Maximizing production efficiency to meet plans on an hourly/daily basis.
7. Adhering to and promoting best practices in health, safety, and quality regulations.
8. Completing all paperwork and systems accurately according to company procedures.
9. Assisting in developing a skills matrix for all production workers.
10. Training and developing new starters.
11. Monitoring, controlling, and minimizing waste.
Qualifications
* Experience in a production environment preferred.
* Positive and clear communication skills.
* Knowledge and compliance with company procedures.
* Ability to lead a team effectively, including temporary labor.
* Recognition of the importance of continuous improvement.
* Positive attitude towards change.
* Experience working in a customer-led environment with changing priorities.
* Experience with manufacturing machinery and processes.
* Food or packing industry experience preferred.
