An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive Finance Assistant to join a fast-paced and rapidly growing online fashion business on a temporary basis. Supporting the Finance and Wholesale teams during a busy trading period, this role is ideal for someone with strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and a solid grounding in accounting processes.
Key Responsibilities:
•Assist with month-end reporting and account reconciliations
•Generate and follow up on customer invoices using Excel
•Upload approved invoices to accounting software
•Process supplier invoices accurately, ensuring all supporting documentation is in place
•Help manage individual customer accounts alongside the Finance team
•Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or invoicing issues with customers directly
Key Skills & Experience:
•Strong Excel proficiency – confident with data entry and formulas
•Sound understanding of accounting and bookkeeping procedures
•Excellent numerical and analytical skills
•Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
•Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
This role would suit someone with:
•Previous experience in a finance or accounts assistant role
•Experience working in a product or retail environment (preferred but not essential)
•A flexible, can-do attitude and the ability to hit the ground running
