Job Purpose: We are seeking a reliable and proactive Stores Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the storage, maintenance, and distribution of PPE and equipment, ensuring all tools and safety gear are in good working order and compliant with inspection standards. Key Responsibilities: Booking in and out of PPE and equipment to staff and contractors. Carrying out repairs on airlines and chipping gun tools. Conducting weekly stock takes of PPE and maintaining accurate inventory records. Performing regular ladder inspections and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Conducting harness inspections and maintaining inspection logs. Supporting general warehouse duties and maintaining a clean and organised store area. Assisting with deliveries and collections as required. Desirable Qualifications & Skills: Forklift licence (advantageous but not essential). Basic mechanical repair skills. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills and a proactive attitude.
