Senior Employee Relations Advisor Salary: Up to £42,000 per annum (depending on experience) PIB Group are looking for an experienced and proactive Senior Employee Relations (ER) Advisor to join our growing ER team. This is a great opportunity to act as a trusted specialist to managers across the business, using your ER expertise - and our ER data and reporting - to support fair, consistent and commercially aware people decisions. You will combine hands-on case management with data-led insight, helping leaders to spot trends, manage risk and continuously improve the colleague experience. What You Will Be Doing Provide timely, pragmatic ER advice to managers on a full range of casework, including conduct, performance, absence, grievance and capability. Manage ER cases from end to end, ensuring they are handled in line with employment law, company policies and best practice. Support managers with investigations, including preparing documentation and attending formal meetings and hearings where required. Draft and manage settlement agreements, liaise with ACAS and support in providing documentation for Employment Tribunals. Coach, train and upskill managers to build ER capability, encourage early resolution of issues and reduce escalation of cases. Draft and review letters, outcome reports and case documentation to a high standard. Use ER data and MI (e.g. caseload volumes, themes, timelines, outcomes) to: identify trends, hotspots and root causes; inform recommendations and decision-making; support reporting to HR, Leadership and other stakeholders. Contribute to regular ER reporting and insight packs, helping to tell a clear story through data and narrative and supporting continuous improvement in our people practices. What We’re Looking For Solid experience in an ER-focused HR role (e.g. Senior ER Advisor, or Senior HR Advisor with strong experience of ER case management). Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice. Confident managing a varied ER caseload, including complex, sensitive and high‑risk cases. Experience of working with ER data and MI - comfortable interpreting trends, using dashboards or reports, and translating insight into practical actions and recommendations. Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to challenge and coach managers constructively and build strong, credible relationships.
