Job Description
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a proactive and experienced Electrical Technician to join a forward-thinking and fast-paced team. This is a hands-on role, suited to someone with strong electrical expertise and a working knowledge of mechanical systems. The role will be predominantly electrical with a ratio of 70/30 Electrical/Mechanical.
Main Duties:
* Perform routine maintenance and fault-finding on electrical systems
* Collaborate with teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical and mechanical elements
* Install and optimise logic controllers to improve system performance
* Carry out testing to meet safety and operational standards
* Take initiative to improve departmental efficiency while working independently or within a team
Candidate specification:
* Time-served or formally qualified in Electrical Engineering
* Proven experience with electrical maintenance and PPM systems
* Background in plastics or injection moulding is desirable
* Basic understanding of mechanical systems
* Experience with logic controllers is advantageous
