Business Application Support Manager is responsible for managing and advancing Cornerstone's company vision and strategic direction through the effective use of its Key IT Platforms. They will act as a champion for each Platform, ensuring its availability, performance, scalability, and security meet the current and future needs of the business.
Responsibilities
* Scope: Focus on the short-to-medium-term strategy of each platform, working with both the business and suppliers to build a roadmap that supports the needs of Cornerstone.
* Work closely with business stakeholders and platform providers to ensure ongoing adoption and identification of new features and enhancements that deliver value to Cornerstone.
* Oversee the commercial deliverables of each vendor to ensure they are in line with their contracted obligations, working with Procurement and the various vendors to address any concerns or deviations.
* Delivery: Ensure that Cornerstone's key IT platforms consistently meet business needs by maintaining high levels of availability, performance, scalability, and security. Shape and deliver short to medium term platform strategies, working with business stakeholders and suppliers to define and execute roadmaps that enable ongoing adoption and the introduction of valuable features and enhancements.
* Oversee commercial vendor deliverables, ensuring contractual compliance and addressing deviations in partnership with Procurement. Identify improvements, support transformation, and ensure platforms evolve in alignment with Cornerstone's strategic goals.
Role Expertise
* Strong technical and commercial acumen, with hands-on experience in contract management, service delivery, and cross-functional collaboration.
* Sound judgement, autonomy, and ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, plus strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
* Experience with vendor engagement and financial or commercial negotiation is essential to champion each platform, guide stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement across Cornerstone's IT landscape.
Experience
* Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
* Hands-on experience with contract management and demonstrable commercial acumen.
* Strong customer focus with experience of conflict resolution.
* Strong interpersonal skills, specifically good communication and presentation skills.
* Experience in matrix resource management and service delivery.
* Previous finance control and commercial negotiation experience.
