Job Title: Billings Assistant

Company: Blockbusters

Location: Lewes, East Sussex (based on-site)

Salary: £23,000 to £26,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Core Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 09:00-17:30

About Us:

Blockbusters are a leading provider of drainage solutions across East and West Sussex, Kent and along the South. We continue to grow as a business and are now seeking a Billings assistant to join the team and help the accounts' function run smoothly. With the role being based at our head office in Lewes, we are looking for someone with a positive personality and great enthusiasm to join a thriving office environment.

Responsibilities:

* Ensuring customers are billed correctly and on time for services offered.

* Send reminders for payments and contact customers when assigned.

* Receive payments through various methods (cash, online payments, etc.) and check for credibility.

* Issue invoices and distribute them electronically or by mail.

* Compile and process information such as prices, discounts and rates, etc.

* Request payment of pending debts in a firm yet considerate manner.

* Team Player. Someone who is friendly and helpful towards everyone within the team.

* Able to build good working relationships with internal and external team members/clients.

* Be punctual, turn up on time, minimum absence.

* Can communicate effectively with team members, to ensure positive results.

* Looking to progress and develop within the business.

* Some who is proactive and can use their initiative to complete tasks.
