Our client, a multi award winning Modular Build Main Contractor, has asked us to supply them with driven and technically capable Assistant Site Manager to help drive a Residential development they have kicking off in Thurrock.
We are looking for a bright, ambitious construction professional who is looking to develop their career with a business in hyper growth mode. A super exciting role with one of the biggest names in MMC (Modern Methods of Construction).
The Role
Working closely with the Site Manager and Project Manager, the Assistant Site Manager will support the day-to-day running of the construction sites, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to programme.
You will gain exposure to modular installation, fast track finishing works and residential delivery, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to accelerate their career.
Responsibilities
1. Assisting with the daily management of site operations
2. Supporting programme coordination and delivery
3. Managing subcontractors and labour on site
4. Ensuring health & safety compliance
5. Monitoring quality control and snagging
6. Supporting site reporting and documentation
7. Coordinating deliveries and site logistics
8. Liaising with subcontractors and suppliers
9. Supporting handover and completion stages
Candidate Requirements
10. Experience working within construction site teams
11. Previous experience as:Assistant Site ManagerSite SupervisorFinishing Manager (Junior)
12. Strong IT and computer literacy
13. Good technical understanding of construction processes
14. Highly organised with strong attention to detail
15. Energetic, proactive, and career-driven
16. Strong communication and coordination skills
Desirable
17. Residential construction experience
18. Exposure to Modular or Offsite construction (desirable)
19. SMSTS / SSSTS
20. CSCS Card
21. First Aid
