Sherburn Group Practice are looking to expand our nursingteam and we are looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic nurse to join the team.
Experience of practice nursing would be advantageous but notessential as full training will be given to the right candidate.
This is a new role within the practice that has beenintroduced due to the expansion of the practice following the opening of ourbrand new surgery; it is an exciting opportunity for a registered nurse lookingto progress their career in general practice.
We are a supportive teaching practice with a well-establishednursing team.
Main duties of the job
The rolewill essentially deliver treatment room services such as vaccinations andimmunisations, cervical screening, contraception reviews, wound care includingleg ulcer management and general treatment room duties. along with somelong-term condition management. This will be a developing role and will adaptto service demands.

Job Summary
To provide and maintaina high standard of nursing care for patients, as well as providing nursingassistance to the doctors and other membersof the primary healthcare team. The duties will include all tasks normally undertaken byan experienced RGN and any additional roles agreed between the nurse and thedoctors as appropriate, having regard to current training.
