Affinity Workforce is seeking a dedicated Autism Support Workert to join a welcoming Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in the Luton area. This school provides individualised support to pupils with a wide range of SEND needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, cerebral palsy, and behaviours that challenge. Key Responsibilities Provide classroom support to pupils with SEND, ensuring their learning and wellbeing needs are met. Assist with personal care in a respectful and dignified manner. Support students during meal times and throughout the school day. Help with physical needs, including safe moving and handling. Promote independence and encourage positive social interactions. Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff to create an inclusive learning environment. Who We're Looking For Individuals with experience supporting children or young people with SEND. Confidence in providing personal care and managing challenging behaviours. A caring, patient, and proactive approach. Previous experience in a school or care setting is desirable.
