Senior Consultant/Manager, Data & AI, Tax Technology and Transformation, London
At EY, we are a market leader in tax technology and transformation. The EY Tax Technology and Transformation Consulting team (EY TTT Consulting) specializes in helping clients navigate the challenges of modern tax and finance departments through advanced technology platforms, data science, and AI.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with senior stakeholders across EY and clients to identify opportunities for transformation leveraging data science and AI capabilities.
* Lead and mentor a team of data scientists in the design, development, and implementation of generative AI solutions to solve complex business problems.
* Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into actionable technical specifications.
* Oversee the development and maintenance of production‑grade Python applications for machine learning and AI.
* Drive the application of statistical analysis and machine learning techniques to derive insights from large datasets.
* Guide the development of natural language processing (NLP) models to enhance user experience and automate processes.
* Utilize Azure DevOps for project management and CI/CD practices, ensuring efficient delivery of projects.
* Manage version control using Git and promote best practices in code development and collaboration.
Skills and Qualifications
* 5+ years experience in Technical Finance, Tax Technology, or a related advisory role.
* Strong project management skills and understanding of project governance.
* Proficiency in Python, Azure DevOps, Git, machine learning and data science.
* Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and low‑code platforms (Power Platform) is a plus.
* Excellent business requirements gathering and design skills.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Self‑starter, able to manage complex projects and deliver high‑quality outputs.
* Willingness to travel within the UK and occasionally internationally.
