Support Worker Role at Autism Charity

We are seeking passionate Support Workers to join our residential services in Stonepit Close, Godalming, Surrey. Experience supporting autistic individuals is preferred, but we offer comprehensive training to help you succeed in this fulfilling role.
Your work schedule will require flexibility, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of those we support and their families.
This is a full-time position, 37 hours per week, with a salary of £25,012 plus a £499 annual location allowance.
Responsibilities include:
* Helping individuals achieve independence and personal goals
* Supporting and transporting individuals to integrate into their community
* Developing homemaking skills and assisting with personal chores
* Transforming lives and achieving results for autistic adults
We are looking for candidates who are:
Resilient, supportive, and sensitive to the needs of autistic people. Passion, patience, and commitment are essential. Working with autistic individuals is highly rewarding.
Requirements:
All staff must undergo a criminal background check. An Enhanced DBS check, either on the Update Service or conducted within the last 12 months, is preferred but not essential.
