About the Role
We are looking for a Care Home Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of two small, specialist care homes. This is more than just a management role—it’s an opportunity to lead from the front, drive positive change, and shape a high-quality care environment.
Your key responsibilities will include:

Leading, developing, and inspiring a skilled and compassionate team.

Ensuring person-centred care that promotes dignity, independence, and safety.
*
Maintaining compliance with CIW, safeguarding, and legislative standards.
*
Driving quality improvement and service development.
*
Managing budgets, audits, and reporting effectively.
*
Working collaboratively with families, local authorities, and health professionals.
What We’re Looking For
You’ll be a confident, capable leader who’s ready to make a real impact. We’re looking for someone with:
Essential:
*
Experience in a management role within a care home setting (Deputy or Registered Manager level).
*
A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or working towards it).
*
Strong knowledge of learning disabilities, autism, and mental health support.
*
Solid experience in budget management and team supervision.
*
Good understanding of safeguarding, MCA, DoLS, and quality frameworks.
Desirable:
*
A driver with access to a vehicle.
*
Previous experience managing multiple small services or complex cases.
