Reed Practice is recruiting for an Audit Assistant Manager on behalf of a highly respected and growing accountancy firm based in Cheltenham. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified auditor looking to step into a leadership role within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
The Role
As an Audit Assistant Manager, you will:
* Lead audit assignments from planning through to completion for a diverse portfolio of clients
* Supervise and mentor junior audit staff, providing guidance and reviewing their work
* Liaise directly with clients to manage expectations and deliver high-quality service
* Ensure audits are completed in compliance with relevant standards and deadlines
* Assist in developing and improving audit processes and methodologies
* Work closely with managers and partners to support business development and client retention
About You
You are ACA or ACCA qualified and:
* Have strong experience in external audit within a UK accountancy practice
* Possess excellent technical knowledge of audit and financial reporting standards
* Are confident managing client relationships and leading audit teams
* Have strong organisational and time management skills
* Are proficient in audit software and Microsoft Office tools
* Thrive in a collaborative and professional team environment
