The business has rapidly expanded over the last few years and is looking to add to their sales team with the addition of a Telesales Representative. Full training on products and services will be provided.
Role & Responsibilities:
1. Contact existing and potential customers through tele-sales activity and record activity
2. Inform potential or existing customers about a product or service using scripts
3. Answer questions about products or the company
4. Understand customer requirements and close sales
5. Direct prospects to the field sales team when needed, setting appointments as required
6. Enter and update customer information
7. Handle grievances to preserve the company's reputation
8. Keep records of calls and sales and note useful information
9. Continuous improvement on KPIs to ensure effectiveness of campaigns
10. Monitor success with delivery against impact - daily, weekly, and monthly reporting
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
1. Proven experience as a telesales representative or in another sales/customer service role
2. Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quotas, preferably over the phone
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
4. Ability to learn about products and services and describe/explain them to prospects
5. Negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and address complaints
