About the role Are you an experienced finance professional with a passion for delivering excellent customer service and driving continuous improvement? We’re looking for a Transactions Officer to join our team and help shape the future of our financial operations. You will: support the Transactions Manager to lead and manage transactional finance processes, including debt recovery and purchase-to-pay. support and develop team members to deliver high-quality service. identify opportunities to improve systems and procedures. collaborate across departments to ensure financial controls are maintained. You should have: At least 2 years’ experience in a similar finance environment Strong understanding of financial controls and integrated accounting systems Excellent Excel and Word skills, with a keen eye for detail and analysis Confident communicator who can adapt to different audiences and build positive relationships A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and customer service. Desirable extras: Experience with Oracle financial systems. Membership of professional bodies such as the Institute of Credit Management or CIPS. Knowledge of public sector finance and debt recovery legislation.
