What You Will Do
: React promptly to plant and machine failures, diagnosing and repairing issues to minimise downtime.
: Prioritise safety by ensuring all equipment complies with legal standards and is safe to operate.
: Train and advise plant operators and engineers on both new and existing systems to enhance operational efficiency.
: Participate in plant improvement projects, implementing best practices to optimise performance.
: Conduct preventative maintenance and proactively monitor plant systems, ensuring effective utilisation of assets.
: Manage spare parts inventory, raising orders and updating maintenance procedures as needed.
What You Will Bring
: A time:served engineering apprenticeship in electrical or mechanical maintenance.
: At least two years of experience in an industrial maintenance environment.
: Strong fault:finding and diagnosis skills, including PLC interrogation.
: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
: A proactive, self:motivated approach with a commitment to innovation and continuous improvement.
