Robert Half are recruiting for an Accounts Payable specialist for a temporary role in Swindon.
We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist on a six-month contract basis in Swindon, on site 5 days per week.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Management of Complex Vendor Accounts: Handle high-volume, multi-faceted vendor accounts with accuracy and efficiency.
2. Supplier Statement Reconciliations: Perform timely reconciliations to ensure alignment between supplier statements and company records.
3. GRIR Investigation and Clearances: Investigate and clear discrepancies related to Goods Received Invoice Received (GRIR) accounts.
4. Raising Dummy Credit and Debit Notes: Issue dummy credit and debit notes as needed for accounting and reconciliation purposes.
5. Supplier Communication: Manage correspondence with suppliers via telephone and email, maintaining professional relationships and prompt responsiveness.
6. Team Collaboration: Work effectively as part of a team to achieve departmental goals.
7. Query Investigation and Resolution: Proactively investigate and resolve internal and supplier queries in a timely manner.
What We're Looking For:
8. A detail-oriented and organised individual with a proven track record in Accounts Payable
9. Experience in handling supplier statement reconciliations.
10. Strong problem-solving skills with knowledge of GRIR processes and query resolution.
11. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally via both email and telephone.
12. Team-oriented mindset and a commitment to collaboration.
