Capital Projects Coordinator

We have an immediate opening for the regular, full-time position of Capital Projects Coordinator. The successful candidate will have a diploma in project management or a related trade or technical qualification with a minimum of four years’ experience in construction or project management and hold a valid BC driver’s license.
You are detail oriented, possess superior organizational skills and are an excellent communicator. You are able to manage construction and installation projects and have proven experience in the areas of procurement, cost estimating and budget control. You have knowledge of applicable laws, bylaws and permitting regulations. You are comfortable participating in meetings, conducting inspections and liaising with contractors.
Reporting to the Project Manager, the Capital Projects Coordinator is responsible for the planning, and coordination of capital projects of varying size and scope and ranging from minor renovations to major asset replacement.

This is a regular, full- time position (35 hours/week) with a wage range of $39.68 to $45.57 per hour, depending upon experience and qualifications, as well as an extensive benefits package and generous compressed work schedule.
